The Old House
The charming and historic Court House provides a clean, warm and comfortable base.
With 8 dormitories over 2 floors sleeping between 4 – 8 children plus 2 staff bedrooms for single or double occupancy depending upon group size and student/teacher ratio.
Wash hand basins in all dormitories plus toilets on the central landing. Shower facilities in new shower block and private Staff shower room on the ground floor. First floor shared bathroom.
The Monnow Wing
Our two storey self-catering wing adjoins the Old House. The Monnow Wing can sleep up to 35 people in shared bedrooms. These rooms typically have bunk beds and single beds, sleeping groups of 2, 3 and 4.
Facilities – 5 bedrooms on the first floor have en-suite showers, and on the ground floor there is a shared shower.
There are also two communal areas – a small kitchen and a living room area with a television.
Accessible facilities
This more modern wing of our accommodation has ground floor accessibility for those who may have restricted mobility. On the ground floor, we have a walk-in shower room, and there is a small kitchen and common room on this floor.

Base Camp
Our Base camp is situated within the Centre’s grounds next to ‘the Hive’- a timber clad building providing a comfortable dining and social space. Comprising of 12 Bell Tents each accommodating 4-8 children or up to 3 staff. The Bell tents come with sleeping mats (or camp beds and mattresses for staff).
The toilets and showers are just one minute’s walk from the camp along a well-lit path throughout the night. The Campground is enclosed by fencing and locked gates with a single pedestrian gate to access the toilets. Base Camp is available May to September.

The bell tent is amazing. The location is wonderful The bathroom / shower was fabulous Allowing us to use the Hive building for sit down meals / kitchen facilities was perfect The activities are a must, we did gorge walking, the ropes, zip line and it’s perfect value for money The staff are amazing & polite We will be visiting again and have recommended to so many friends / family.

The campsite was well organised and in a beautiful setting. We were welcomed by centre staff and shown our tent, kitchen facilities and toilets. . We had our own picnic table where we had supper, while looking across to splendid views. The children enjoyed the campfire walking through the woodland by torchlight.
