We are delighted to have secured funding via UK Youth,  a leading charity that exists to ensure all young people are equipped to thrive and
empowered to contribute at every stage of their lives. 

 

Our delivery dates are Friday 14th April to Sunday 16th April and open to 11 to 14 years.  The course is fully funded, includes 2 nights accommodation, activities, meals and all specialist kit and equipment.  

 

Families will need to deliver young people to the centre in Longtown for 9am on Friday 14th April and collect at 9am on Sunday 16th April.

  • Standup Paddleboarding
  • High Ropes
  • Rock Climbing
  • Archery 
  • Camp Fire

Fully funded residential programme to;

  • Develop Character
  • Build Resilience 
  • Enhance Social Skills 
  • Build Confidence 
  • Promote Physical Activity 

Who can apply?

This programme is open to Young People aged 11-14 in England and Wales.  We welcome applications from young people who are or have been affected by Mental health, BESD (Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties), Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic Communities, Currently, or at risk of being NEET, Disabled Young People, Young people with experience of the Care System or experiencing or at risk of Criminal Justice System, have SEND (Special educational needs and disabilities), Homeless Young People, LGBTQI+, Low-Income Families, Refugee or Asylum Seekers, Rural Isolation, Traveller Community, Young Carers and Young Parents

How to apply?

1. Please email rebecca@longtownoutdoorlearning.co.uk to register your interest with your child’s name , school currently attended and a brief explanation of why your child will benefit from attending this programme. 

2. We will review all emails of interest and allocate places by Thursday 30th March 2023.

3. If allocated a place we will require you to submit medical and dietary information for your child plus parental consent for your child to take part in adventurous activities.
