Longtown Outdoor Learning Trust (LOLT) offers an educational visits advisory service to help ensure off-site educational activities are executed safely.

Mike is a qualified teacher whose most recent school-based post was as Deputy Head Teacher and Educational Visits Co-ordinator of Cross Ash Primary School in Monmouthshire. He is also qualified to lead, instruct and coach a range of Outdoor activities and is an Accredited Practitioner of the Institute for Outdoor Learning. Mike has substantial experience of residential education and is a member of the Association of Heads of Outdoor Education Centres. Mike advises both West and North Northamptonshire Councils about safety issues surrounding Outdoor Learning and on the implementation of their Learning Outside the Classroom policies.

Renewal information for the academic year, 01 Sep 2021 to 31 Aug 22:

Less than 100 pupils on school roll: £225 per annum
100 – 150 pupils on school roll: £2.15 per pupil
150 – 2000 on school roll: £2.00 per pupil
2000+ pupils on school roll: £1.90 per pupil
Multi Academy Trusts – if the number of pupils from subscribing schools to the new SLA exceeds 2,000: £1.90 per pupil
