This Christmas holiday we are running a one-off climbing activity day for 6 to 14 years old on Wednesday 22nd December from 9am to 5pm.

The full day will include a part day session at a nearby climbing wall and on-site woodland and team game activities.

Drop off is at 9am and collection at 5pm.

Hot Lunch and afternoon snack available.

The session will be run by qualified instructors and apprentice instructors from Longtown Outdoor Learning Centre.  All staff hold the relevant leadership / instructor awards, First Aid certificates and enhanced DBS certificates.

All the activities offered will be run according to Longtown OLC’s Risk Management Systems (which incorporate the latest Government guidance regarding Covid-19).

Standard Kit List; (a supplementary kit list will be required for wet activities)

• Warm trousers e.g. tracksuit bottoms (not jeans)
• T-shirt / Long sleeved top
• Warm fleece / Hoody and a spare
• A waterproof jacket
• Waterproof over-trousers (These can be provided if you don’t have them)
• Hat and gloves
• Walking boots or wellies (These can be provided if you don’t have them)
• Comfortable socks
• Bottle of water
• Any medication e.g. asthma inhaler
• Small rucksack (a larger school bag is ideal)

(Plus a packed lunch and afternoon snack unless you book to include this).

Activity plus Lunch and Snack – £40 per child
