Kingstone and Thruxton Afterschool Adventure Club – January/February 2022

Longtown Outdoor Learning Centre is delighted to offer an after-school Adventure Club to pupils of Kingstone & Thruxton Primary during January & February 2022.
Club sessions will take place on Wednesday afternoons from 3.00 – 6.00 pm commencing on Wednesday 12th January 2022.
Sessions will be run by qualified instructors and apprentice instructors from Longtown Outdoor Learning Centre. All staff hold the relevant leadership / instructor awards, First Aid certificates and enhanced DBS certificates.
All the activities offered will be run according to Longtown OLC’s Risk Management Systems (which incorporate the latest Government guidance regarding Covid-19).
Costs/Session dates:
Parents will be invoiced for the part -term of activities: 6 sessions @ £9.50 per session = £57.00
Session dates will be:
12/1, 19/1, 26/1, 2/2, 9/2 and 16/2
There are 14 places available at £9.50 per pupil per session. Enrolment is for the term which will consist of the 6 sessions above. Refunds are not available for unattended sessions. If club places are cancelled during the term a minimum of 10 days’ notice must be provided to receive a refund for any outstanding sessions.
Parents are able to apply for our bursary support of 30% towards the fee of £57.00 *

Standard Kit List; (a supplementary kit list will be required for wet activities)
- Warm trousers e.g. tracksuit bottoms (not jeans)
- T-shirt / Long sleeved top
- Warm fleece / Hoody and a spare
- A waterproof jacket
- Waterproof over-trousers (These can be provided if you don’t have them)
- Hat and gloves
- Torch with spare batteries
- Walking boots or wellies (These can be provided if you don’t have them)
- Comfortable socks
- A packed tea
- Bottle of water
- Any medication e.g. asthma inhaler
- Small rucksack (a larger school bag is ideal)
