Longtown Autumn Term Little Adventurers afterschool club

Little Adventurers Club will run on Thursdays for Years 2 and 3 from 3 – 5.30 pm, commencing Thursday 16th September. Maximum numbers 15.
Little Adventurers will run for 10 consecutive weeks (except half-term) finishing on 25th November.
Sessions will take place on: 16/9, 23/9, 30/9, 7/10, 14/10, 21/10, 4/11, 11/11, 18/11 and 25/11 (No sessions in December)
Little Adventurers fees are £6.50 per session with the option for parents to pay a £1 voluntary contribution per session.
The club leaders will meet children at school at 3 pm and the activity will run until the time specified.
Children should be collected from the car park or courtyard of Longtown Outdoor Learning Centre NB. not the school.
For their first session Little Adventurers should wear warm ‘Forest School’ clothes together with a waterproof coat, wellies, hat / gloves, water bottle, packed tea and any necessary medication. The Little Adventurers programme will be developed with club members during the first session.

Standard Kit List; (a supplementary kit list will be required for wet activities)
- Warm trousers e.g. tracksuit bottoms (not jeans)
- T-shirt / Long sleeved top
- Warm fleece / Hoody and a spare
- A waterproof jacket
- Waterproof over-trousers (These can be provided if you don’t have them)
- Hat and gloves
- Torch with spare batteries
- Walking boots or wellies (These can be provided if you don’t have them)
- Comfortable socks
- A packed tea
- Bottle of water
- Any medication e.g. asthma inhaler
- Small rucksack (a larger school bag is ideal)
