Michaelchurch Escley Afterschool Adventure Club – April and May 2022

Longtown Outdoor Learning Centre is delighted to offer an after-school Adventure Club to pupils of Year 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Club sessions will take on Thursday evenings from 2.45pm – 5.45 pm commencing from Thursday 3rd April
Pupils will be collected from school entrance at 2.45pm in the Centres minibuses and parents should collect from Longtown Centre at 5.45pm.
Sessions will be run by qualified instructors and apprentice instructors from Longtown Outdoor Learning Centre. All staff hold the relevant leadership / instructor awards, First Aid certificates and enhanced DBS certificates.
All the activities offered will be run according to Longtown OLC’s Risk Management Systems (which incorporate the latest Government guidance regarding Covid-19).
Costs:
There are 6 places remaining this part term at £10 per pupil per session and enrolment is for the term. Refunds are not available for unattended sessions. If club places are cancelled during the term a minimum of 10 days’ notice must be provided to receive a refund for any outstanding sessions.
Parents are able to apply for our bursary support of 30% towards the term fee.

Session dates will be:
3/3, 10/3, 17/3, 24/3, 31/3 and 7/4
This will be our last term of our after school clubs for the current academic year due to existing commitments over the Summer Term however the provision will then recommence in Sep 2022.
Standard Kit List; (a supplementary kit list will be required for wet activities)
- Warm trousers e.g. tracksuit bottoms (not jeans)
- T-shirt / Long sleeved top
- Warm fleece / Hoody and a spare
- A waterproof jacket
- Waterproof over-trousers (These can be provided if you don’t have them)
- Hat and gloves
- Torch with spare batteries
- Walking boots or wellies (These can be provided if you don’t have them)
- Comfortable socks
- A packed tea
- Bottle of water
- Any medication e.g. asthma inhaler
- Small rucksack (a larger school bag is ideal)
