The camp will run from 6 pm on Friday until 5 pm on Saturday.  On Friday campers will need to come equipped for an evening of orienteering and wide games followed by a campfire and a night in the centre’s Bell tents. On Saturday they will have a continental breakfast (cereal and toast) before going Canoeing on the River Wye at Monmouth.  All transport, instruction and equipment will be provided. The cost will be £30 per person (or £54 for two siblings – enter OAC_Siblings in the coupon field during checkout to apply this discount)

The camp will be led by 2 male leaders (myself and Alistair) and 2 female leaders (Fran Dickson and Emma tbc).

Please feed your children on Friday before they join us and send them with a labelled packed lunch for Saturday which will be stored in one of the centre fridges.  Any special dietary requirements please let me know.

Kit list – please pay careful attention to the kit list below. Sleeping Bags and sleeping mats will be lent out if required. The camp will go ahead whatever the weather although the canoeing activity may change to the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal if river levels are too high. As usual in the British summer we need to prepare for all weathers so please ensure all items (including the teddy bear!) are brought.
