Outdoor Adventure Club – Autumn 2021

Outdoor Adventure Club will run on Fridays for Years 4, 5 and 6 from 3 – 7.30 pm (times may vary, please refer to the programme). Maximum numbers 15

OAC runs on alternate weeks initially and then consecutive weeks ending 10th December as follows:  17/9, 1/10, 15/10, 22/10, 5/11, 12/11, 19/11, 26/11, 3/12 and 10/12.

OAC fees are £7.50 per session with the option for parents to pay a £2 voluntary contribution per session.

The club leaders will meet children at school at 3 pm and the activity will run until the time specified.

Children should be collected from the car park or courtyard of Longtown Outdoor Learning Centre NB. not the school.

Standard Kit List; (a supplementary kit list will be required for wet activities)

• Warm trousers e.g. tracksuit bottoms (not jeans)
• T-shirt / Long sleeved top
• Warm fleece / Hoody and a spare
• A waterproof jacket
• Waterproof over-trousers (These can be provided if you don’t have them)
• Hat and gloves
• Torch with spare batteries
• Walking boots or wellies (These can be provided if you don’t have them)
• Comfortable socks
• A packed tea
• Bottle of water
• Any medication e.g. asthma inhaler
• Small rucksack (a larger school bag is ideal)
